Hello All,
I have an Exchange 2000 server setup and hosted on a Comcast Dynamic IP account. I get messages back because my IP is in the Spamhaus (and others I'm sure) PBL. I am not a spammer, just a small business owner. I did research and found out I cannot setup a PTR/Reverse DNS for my...
I will check the event log, and I have listed the exact error in my first post. There is no error number.
I was able to compose when I enable "use Microsoft Office Word to compose email", but the emails are not archived properly in ACT! 2007 when this option is enabled. Disabling ACT! address...
As I stated in my post I have already created new user profiles on the machine twice, as well as new outlook profiles twice.
Yes I have done a Detect and Repair for both Office 2003 and ACT! 9. Twice. I have also disabled all plugins and add-ons.

New user, new user profile, 2 new mail profiles, 2 new pst files. Still getting this message when they attempt to send new emails:
The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook.
The m$ knowledge base only tells you to keep your pst under 2gb...
Hello!
Here is my latest endeavor at my office. We need to share a folder full of files to a few outside users. I would just make them accessible via ftp, but the files need to be "locked" so local users do not overwrite them. Is WebDAV a possibility?
I have an XP box, p4 with 2gb ram...
Is it possible to set up TCP/IP networking over 1394 from XP Pro to 2000 Server??? I have read that it is possible from XP to XP, but from XP to 2k or 2k Server?
Ideas? Thanx!

I did a google search and came up with editing /etc/xinetd.d/smtp_psa
server_args = -Rt0 /var/qmail/bin/relaylock /var/qmail/bin/qmail-smtpd /var/qmail/bin/smtp_auth /var/qmail/bin/true /var/qmail/bin/cmd5checkpw /var/qmail/bin/true
You just add the "-Rt0", save and restart xinetd...
I can send the name/number to the phone. When I bought the phone/pda I figured bluetooth is bluetooth, but that is not the case!
I just have to hope that palm releases a driver for the phone.

We have had our dedicated web server with the above config for about 5 months. Since day 1 sending emails has been quite slow from Outlook. It usually takes about 1 minute for outlook to say it has stopped sending a 3-5 line text email, which is quite unacceptable. Ideas?

Try selecting the area with the circular marquee tool and desaturating or changing the color of that area. Use Hue/Saturation and play with the sliders until it looks right.

I am running outlook 2003 with all service packs and updates. I have outlook configured to download from multiple email accounts, and rules set up to move them into separate folders. I belong to multiple forums and also have emails sent to me by my website when my customers enter their info...
Has anyone had any experience getting a samsung a920 to dial from a Palm e2 via bluetooth? I have done plenty of searching and I can't seem to find a way.
The two devices will pair and can see each other. I can send the contact name and number to the a920 but I cannot dial directly via e2...
Yes, you have cds that are good today, but what about tomorrow? I want my images to last 100s of years. I still have an offsite copy of everything on hard drive and a dvd or cd copy, but I will not rely on just one of either dvd/cd or hard drive. I do value the gov't opinion because they were...
Is there any easy/inexpensive solutions to share Outlook 2003 using FC3 or FC4 server? I have a team of 5-7 and we have almost outgrown ACT! 6.0, and the new ACT! '06 must run on windoz server 2k or '03 (so my consultant says). ACT is consistently crashing, and the database gets corrupted...
I found out what the problem was, on the server with the issue I needed to add root to the smbpasswd database. Thanx for your help.

I have two FC3 servers running samba shares, one of which hosts the domain. I back up via retrospect everynight two separate hard drives, which I swap out weekly.
The issue is with permissions. I cannot log into the machine from my xp desktop via either retrospect or My Network Places (MNP)...
There is an option found in the Prefs that is called "Maximize Compatibility" if you are worried and would like to take an extra step. It does make your files larger, however.

You need to do a few things, one is to change your RGB color space to Prophoto, since that is your primary space (and the best/largest color space). That will get rid of the error message.
If you are worried about color, I would check to be sure that the DVD program you are using has color...
