Hi again Access,
Ugh...I'm still in the same boat. I have no exp. with NT systems much less the process to upgrade to 2000. I assume the upgrade process for all Windows OS's are close to being alike. Am I right?
Also, are there any good sites for NT instruction?
Thanks Access for being...
Hi Access,
Thanks for your help. However, I didn't mean needing help "identifying" brands but rather what type of cpu it is in the way of if it's a slot 1, socket A, socket 7, etc.
Also, thanks for the link glister, I'm going to check it out now.
Thanks again,
JP
Just thought of another question...or rather, the need for a boost in the right direction. At the risk of sounding dumb, can someone direct me to a site that illustrates the different CPU's (old and new) and whether they are slot/socket types and their interfaces. I think I saw a post that...
Hey all,

Thanks!
JP
Just curious: If Federal Express and UPS merged....would they be FedUp?
Hey all,
Just wondering....I am self-studying for the A+ exam and I have David Groth's "A+ Complete Study Guide."
Does anybody have an opinion on this author (study guide?)
The bookstore was out of Mike Meyer's study guide so I opted for David Groth.
Thanks!
JP
