I have tried Easy Cd Creator 4.0, / Direct CD, on Windows 2000. After a few problems installing, its fine. The tricks are as follows:
1. Download the latest patches for direct CD and Easy CD from Adaptec.
2. Install Easy CD, and apply the updates in the normal manner, DO NOT INSTALL DIRECT CD...

I wish to create a method of automatically restoring a PC from CD. OK, so I create a boot cd, but then I must detect which is the CDrom Drive. I can(using Bios.h) detect the drives, but not the type eg CDrom as against a hard drive.How can i do this???
