Adding a hard drive
If I were going to be in this situation like you mentioned, I would (like previously mentioned) have ALL drivers available to load (for the SPECIFIC o/s) because when you put a drive in as a Master in any system, it will most likly NOT know all the answers to all the devices on its own. I recommend Ghost, but not over the network...takes to long. create an actusl working image (hooked up to the domain and everything) then after all the patches and whatnot have been installed and you consider this drive "GOLD" remove it from the domain and into a workgroup, ghost it to...- antsoup

Drive died after pluging into USB enclosure.
It sounds to me that if your 200 g drive clicks when trying to boot to it in another system also, then I would say the heads have crashed. This is NOT a good thing for drives. If the drive is just stuck ( do not strike it to get it going again) place it in the freezer for about 5 min. to...- antsoup
