    dos window

Thanks guys. Knew about the "command" command, didn't know about the Wntipcfg prog. I was thinking (wrongly no-doubt) that their might be a setting somewhere to get the dos window to stay up when I run a command in XP.

    dos window

When I try to do a run command (ie; ipconfig /all) the dos windows flies by so fast I never get to read it. I can bring up a dos window on my own, and it'll stay. Any ideas on why the dos windows doesn't give me a chance to read it, and how do make it stay, till I want to exit? TC
