Recall reading on SATA, a recommendation for a PS to support SATA. Not the generic type. Browse/Search this site or Google for specific info. Consensus seems to be for a PS peculiar to SATA drives.
Found the answer while browsing page two Q's. In gpedit msc> User Config> Admin Templates>Desktop>Active Desktop >Active Desktop Wallpaper was disabled.

Curious thing, after clearing a virus (win32 patti b), the wallpaper will not remain as selected in Display Properties. The Wallpaper reverts to a default blue screen (not BSOD)after closing a full screen window, IE or Windows, or a restart/Shutdown.

Is it possible and what are the suggestions for removing the hotpatch uninstalls, assuming all is working well after the initial installs?!!

In removing an obstanant application from my registry I came upon this Key, has anyone seen such or is it the left over of an email virus recently removed?
