I have 2 users who very recently have started having this problem, both are using Outlook 2002 on Windows XP and both have run all available recent updates/SP's for Windows and Office.
When they try and forward email messages when working offline the messages go into their Outbox but never get...
Right click on the Contacts folder, go to Properties and then the Outlook Address Book tab. Check that the 'Show this folder as an email Address Book' is ticked, if not, tick it, Apply and OK it and try again.
Excellent, problem solved. My user has come back to me and said: The command didn't change the default program in outlook to OE.
I hit another hot link and it fired up Lotus again.
Got smart, changed the default program to OE manually and then changed it back to Outlook.
Whalla, job is done...
We have a user that previously used Lotus Notes, he has moved over to Outlook and this is set as his default mail editor in IE. Strangely when browsing and clicking on a hotlink, Lotus fires up.
Anybody know what we are missing?
