Actually, this is what is concerning. I have done the whole "boot -arv" thing - but when I tell it to rebuild the path_to_inst, it simply tells me that it is using the default. When the system comes up, I can see a path_to_inst.old file. However, I am unable (reason: cannot create)...
After getting some horrible advice, I blew away my path_to_inst file. Now my system won't boot - it continues to say something about not finding the path_to_inst file. Is there a command (such as boot -something) that will cause it to rebuild this?
