    Yeah - that is a bummer. I really like this version and might consider it as a replacement for IE. But - I am not willing to give up my touchpad for the sake of one program - and a major one at that! I think I will just hold out and see if they fix it. Any news on that? Thanks - Tom...

    I loaded Opera 7 on my HP laptop (XP home edition) to check it out. It seems to be as quick as advertised, except for one problem (so far): the scroll function does not work. The touchpad works, but no scrolling. I have rebooted and checked scrolling in Word - it seems to work everywhere else...
