Found what was causing the problem while checking out other tech forums. Simple solution, had to go Tools-Internet Options-Accessibility-and uncheck the box ( format using my style sheet) Don't know how this ended up being checked, but at last the problem is solved.IE works fine, no more error...

I am running Windows 98SE, access the net via cable modem. In the beginning the connection is fast but over time of a couple of hours it slows down to a crawl. If i re-boot the connection is fast again for a while. I would appreciate any help on this irritating problem. Thank You in advance.
