I'm not sure if you're dealing with the same issue I was or not, but disabling the Webclient service seemed to help me.

Well, just to add more information to my original post...
I changed my setup at home to have my DSL modem on my main computer, and share the connection with my downstairs computer (instead of the other way around).
I still have the same Outlook problem. Even when I disable my Internet...
Toshiba's website has the drivers for just about everything on their laptops.
Go to
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_home.jsp
and select Tech Support Center. You can select your laptop from the list, and go to the download section to download your drivers.
