NAV process hogs CPU for 2 hours on startup
The NAV update and re-registering seems to fix the problem. I have NAV auto-protect enabled and CPU utilization is averaging less than 10%. Big improvement! Yes, everytime the system starts. As recommended in the Symantec knowledge base, I downloaded the latest NAV updates and re-registered NAV. Maybe this will fix it. Thanks, Mike- mwoinoski
