try using the TransferText command: DoCmd.TransferText acExportFixed, ExportSpec, WrkTbl, ExportFile ExportSpec : is the saved export specification you have done on the table or querry (Manually), here you define your specs fixed, with separators or not,... Problems with XLS file Generated by OutputTo Method
Try using this alternate command: DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acExport, acSpreadsheetTypeExcel97, WrkTbl, ExportFile Where Wrktbl is the variable holding the tablename and Exportfile is the variable holding the destination & output name. Using excel97 type make it more portable.- befree
