    Hanson, thanks, but I have tried it. The file doesn't even show as corrupt. It is the weirdest thing. Anyway if you can think of any nifty ideas for hacking the registry, that might work. I scoured it and really didn't know what to look for. Thanks for the reply though.

    Does anybody out there have any useful information or documentation on using Sysdiff??? I can get as far as making the snapshot, but when I got to run the /diff file it gets to a certain point then it errors out with error 32. cannot access the file... being used by another process...
