    You either misunderstood me, or I misunderstood your code.. I need to be able to build an Image out of it's raw byte data, or alternately be able to create Image objects out of gifs in a jar file. The only place you got images in the code (that I could see) was in this line...

    Is anyone out there? Say that I have the a byte array representation of a gif file. How would I create an Image object out of it? (it's either that or you give me a better way to extract .gif files from jars Regards Ira.
