Epo Agent not connecting / registering on Epo Server

Hi mate, we've had this problem for the last few weeks... servers in a new Vscan 8.5i group just weren't being updated and ePO wasn't communicating with the agent on lots of computers. Turns out that there was duplication of computer names. Go through your lists and ensure that the computers...

    MCSE In India

Hi Simon, the Delmon isn't that bad I guess but make sure you voice any problems you have to Koenig themselves otherwise they won't get sorted. I know the Koenig guys were trying to iron out creases so, maybe they've given the Delmon folks a kick up the arse or something. All of the other...

    MCSE In India

Hi, I didn't have all the required injections as the doctor said I didn't have time - I just had the Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Diptheria and Polio. There was no mention of yellow fever though... my friend travels all over the world (to Oil producing countries) for his job and he hasn't the yellow...

    MCSE In India

Hi Tony, from speaking to the other guys there, Delhi is supposed to be a proper city in the sense that there's a hell of a lot more things to do and places to eat etc.. All UK appliances work fine over there as the voltage is 240v but you'll need plug converters to the 2 pin indian style. You...

    MCSE In India

Hi Guys, apologies for the delay, xmas madness... The Hotel is called the Delmon, in all fairness it's not that bad but it can be noisy and they don't exactly have the highest standards of cleanliness... They have a restaurant downstairs who also provide room service called The Royal Salute...

    MCSE In India

Hi all, I got back from Goa last week and everything went ok. I passed 7 out of the 8 exams but still got my MCSE(Got MCSA Messaging instead). It was lack of preparation for the last exam that was my failing, not the teaching. There were a few problems but, overall, I would recommend the...

    MCSE In India

Dude, it's more like $4050 to do the bootcamp in Goa, India. This includes accomodation and food for 35 days. Looks like nobody's actually reading the question. I wanted to know if anyone had actually done a bootcamp in India before! Thanks for the "Travel Show" advice though.... Prak.

    MCSE In India

Yes, I'm very happy for you but I'm asking if anyone has actually done it in India. How can you say we're not going to learn much? They have a 95% pass rate, can't be too bad, surely?

    MCSE In India

Seriously JTB, that's the price I was getting from the UK boot camps. The self taught approach does seem good but It doesn't really compare to studying next to the beach for five weeks I guess.

Somebody out there must've been, surely?

    MCSE In India

Doh! sorry, barely awake this this morning. Didn't read the question properly! We've chosen to study in India becuase of the price. Over here (UK), to study the MCSE 2003 + Exchange at bootcamps would cost close to £10,000 ($17,000). The India option is working out at around £3,000 including...

Thanks for the reply BCaster, have tried the fix and it didn't do anything. Got really desperate last week and did a complete format/reload. The problem still exists! It's so bizzare. It has to be server side now, is there anything on 2000 server that could be stopping a certain i/p or range...

VPN from one domain to another - same server names.

No!! The networks are in different parts of the country. The servers just happen to have the same machine names and the same internal IP range. Thanks anyway. Prak.

VPN from one domain to another - same server names.

Hi, bit of a weird/stupid one here. I'm on my domain, xp workstation, 2000 server and have connected to a client who's running an NT server through the VPN. The VPN connects fine but, I can't browse the server thru the VPN because (here's the good bit..) both servers have the same machine name...
