    the zoom function is included in the undo list, GRRR!

    I know I'm rather late to this discussion, but DJRenegade had it right. It's AutoCAD. AutoCAD's UNDO function steps you back through EVERYTHING you've done. And that includes Zooming. So, bottom line is, you're SOL.
