Whenever we try message tracking from our Exchange 2003 Enterprise (SP1) server we get the following error when we select a user or server:
An unknown error has occured.
ID no: 80030003
Exchange System Manager
No further errors in the eventlog when this happens.
We have no problems...
I have had the same kind of trouble, users were able to ping the exchange server just fine over the VPN, but most of the time outlook would not synchronize properly.
You might want to try to add the following registry key on the client, it looks like it fixes the problem...
