    Thanks for your reply, Linney. I've gotten a lot of info from that site but not a solution. I even tried Hackman Sector Editor and it couldn't find those files. I think some how the record of the files is hanging around even tho the files are gone. I finally found a work-around. I couldn't play...

    Can't delete some *.wma files and other Windows XP Media Player problems. I'm running Windows XP Pro (32bit), Sp1 is installed (long before this problem occurred).
