I have heard that there are files system extensions available for win95/98 that will allow me to change NT file permissions (ie ownership, read write execute etc). Could some one plese point me in the right direction as this would be a great help for me.
Your first source of information here is the event log, also I would recommend the resource kit's scheduler. It does the same thing but with a graphical interface and some validation of your schedule. Essentially it is necessary to srew around with it until it does work.<br>

I guess you should check where the outbound pings (this is a routes and IP issue) are going, i.e. which NIC. Have you implimented any packet filtering? It is more likely to be an implimentation problem more than a bug.<br>

has anybody played with ip tunneling in Win NT, how feasible, how close to RFC, does it connect to non-NT machines? <br>
Secondally how secure is it after the SP4 Upgrade, has anyone out there tested it?<br>
