    IE 6 locks up when a new window pops up or is opened

    Thanks guys... in particular the GMT.EXE tip. Some chick I know went and installed that Grokster thing and ended up in complete denial with it. Once the offending thing was destroyed all was cool again... even if she was on a dialup! Peace.
