realplayer/rtsp problems on SEF/Raptor 7.04
we have a SEF 7.04 on Solaris which requires gwpassword authentication for general web access. I want to enable access for users to realaudio & rtsp, but I get errors relating to authentication, even though the rule which is setup for realplayer/rtsp says no authentication required. here is a...- g17jimmy

"check sum failed" err from TCP
need more info... Is the machine you're seeing this on connected to the internet or to a private lan? I assume, given a non rfc 1918/rfc 1518 ip, that it is connected to the internet. With this in mind, the failed check sum could be the result of the obvious, noise/interference on the line, or... -
Altering Name to IP number in the middle of the day.
You should be able to do a 'nbtstat -RR' from the client machine in question, I don't know of a way to do it across all clients... g
