    I wonder if this makes more sense... I can figure out the hiearchy of it, but basicly what I need to know how to do is: TARGET a FRAME on one FRAMES PAGE, FROM a NON frames page. so 2 completely seperate pages - one controlling the content in a certain frame on the other. ?

    I ahve the left menu targeting to the middleframe just fine - because the left frame code is hardcoded into the leftframe - it never changes - the left menu is always the same - so you can out your code right in there - but the right menu changes several times - so I've called stand alone html...

    yeah - I tried that - I think that's just if your within a frameset and you just want to target another frame - but I'm coming from a an html file that's called INSIDE the right frame - but when your coding the called HTML file - it itself is not part of the frame - technically this is a stand...

    Hello, I have a site in progress, left Nav, middle content, right Sub menu nav (which calls different HTM files into right frame as need bases on choices on left nav) the problem is - the right frame which has all the sub menu content - if the user picks something at this point - my html file...
