GIGABIT AND 10/100 NICS CONNECTIVITY
i HAVE TWO COMPAQ SERVERS CONNECTED TO MY LAN AND I HAVE INSTALLED AN NC6316 GB ADAPTER IN EACH WITH A FIBRE CABLE PROVIDING A DEDICATED LINK. THE PROBLEM IS THAT I CAN ONLY PING THE GB ADAPTER WHEN I DISABLE THE 10/100 ADAPTER. HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED THIS OR IS THERE A WORKAROUND. tHE...- alicante

domain name change stops client access to oracle
I need to change the w2k domain that my oracle 8i database is on. When i change the domain clients cannot connect to the database. I have looked in the tnsnames and pointed the host to both the name and ip address but to no avail. What am I missing?- alicante
