Help would be appreciated. How do I restrict the data in an SQL query, the field is text and in the criteria box I enter: Like 'L*' This works in the Access database but when in VB.NET SQL any field length more than one character does not seem to select the records. Can anyone help?

Many thanks for your suggestion. The only problem is that the unbound control properties are set as read only by Access, even changing the properties of the contol in VB as per your instructions does not seem to work. I would very much appreciate further help in this. Kind regards

Hi, I am trying to import images into a control from a directory outside Access. I have no trouble importing the image but a system message comes up with each import that I can't seem to get rid of. I have tried set warnings off with no success. Can anyone help please? Many thanks in advance.
