David,
I get a lot of Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0xa858a131 Exception which then gives me a fatal error. Have you had any luck in finding out what was causing your problem? Mine may be related.

Has anyone had experience with handling "internal errors" in AutoCAD 2002? I have seen this on several occasions in which drawings upon opening prompt this "internal error" and acad cannot continue and "recover" is not possible.
Hi,
The hyphen is used to suppress the dialog box. Any menu lines such as "layer" will now need the hyphen in front of them. The same goes for command line entry of commands.

Unotech,
Sounds like you are missing a file that Autocad needs to run. Probably got erased or corrupted somehow. I'd just re-install acad unless you know exactly which one you need and where it is.

Hi,
The files that you want to look for aren't going to be .tmp files or any files with a ~ in their name. c:\temp is a good spot to start to look for .bak files as well as the directory in which your cad file is. You should also look for .ac$.

These should help with display problems. Other than that it is the way that the parent application creates the entity. Talk with the person that...
Right clicking on the image will bring up some options for you. You will be able to select "properties" and adjust the scale of the image. Imageframe, "off" at the command line will supress the frame around the image so that this border will not plot.
I am interested in any tips to increase the size of the OLE object that AutoCAD 2002 will allow to be pasted in a drawing. I am keeping the link to the parent application so that editing can happen there, and not pasting as AutoCAD entities.
