Good morning all,
I have 2 Exchange servers in my organization, one is 2003 and the other 2000. The offices that house the Exchange servers are geographically separate and are connected by a frame.
We had an issue where the frame went down and I expected email to traverse through the internet...
Hey Pigboy,
I had the very issue you described. It took me about 3 weeks to finally track it down and it only occurred after I deleted the mailbox and Active directory account. And it wasn't in the first place I looked, I had to go through an entire distribution list of users to find out the...
Hey,
Go to the tools menu and then down to "Options", check the "Delegates" tab, that is probably where the problem lies. If the ex-assistants name is there - then that is what is causing the NDR.

OOOPS, forget that. (wasn't thinking straight).
Consider building an account for the meeting room\resource and then:
Oulook, Tools Menu, Options, Calendar Options (on the first Page), Resource scheduling, Decline conflicting
And then share the calendar so everyone can see it.

Couple of things I have heard of is to make sure on the IMAP virtual server that you have the I.P. address instead of the default "All Unassigned", and to turn on the fast delivery option to speed up access.
I have about 20 OSX Macs with Entourage X in our environment, (so far no problems), so...
Hello rliebsch,
Have you tried to set up the account from scratch in Entourage using the Exchange tab? If so, does the account "auto set up" properly with the proper domain servers indicated?
If this fails there should be some indication from this pointing to a failure in the network of some...
Hi marc,
You do get around, don't ya?
I kind of thought that was the case, but I couldn't find any real documentation about it. I was asked that question as the Exchange Admin and I didn't know for sure.
BTW, we do have a policy and signoff procedure in place - I demanded that the policy be...
Hi all,
I have tried to search for this and can't see where it has been posted in the past (bad search terms might be the cause), so I will ask:
Is it possible for me to determine from Outlook if anyone other than myself is receiving my email (as in forwarded to them and me)? This...
Hello destinysdream,
Thanks for the input - will look at doing an eseutil /g when I get a time frame to dismount the store. I will post back when I find something. I was hoping to avoid doing this step because of the time required.
Hello xmsre,
I did apply the Hotfix and that seemed to take...
Hello everyone,
I received the error listed above in the Application Event Log yesterday and have only seen the error once. I did some research and found only a couple items pertaining to this error. One of the refers to a SP1 issue (which does not apply), and the second refers to a possible...
Marc and Lander,
Good points, we as the messaging admins need to do all we can to protect our systems. If we as admins allow a function to happen that can contribute to a failure or a compromised network, then we have failed.
In todays business environment, we must stay ahead of the game and...
Hello tangostar,
I'm sorry for the delay in responding - I was out of the country for a bit.
I have thought about your problem and can't see anything that jumps out at me as a problem.
I don't have answer - I'm sorry to say.
