Need a quick step by step of install of secondary hard disk on AIX 4.2
Just need any quick instructions on how to install a 9 GIG SCSI secondary hard disk to an existing RS/6000. I tried to add a logical volume but there is no entry for 9 GIG drives. The most is 4.2 GIG drives. Stuck there. Thinking about using the "other SCSI drive" option for the... -
file size showing -99999 on AIX 4.2 system
I have a AIX RS/6000 system running on 4.2.1 and found a couple of files that are showing -99999 for the file size. These are supposed to be just ascii files and nothing system related. Just wondering what that means and what causes it. Also how to correct so it doesn't happen again.
