    butchrecon, when I went into the device manager to try and pull the info on the modem, it stated unknown in all fields except for "PCI Simple Communications Controller"

    I just recently upgraded my HP Pavilion 8756C from Win ME to Win 2000 Pro. The migration was a success except for Windows not locating the modem driver that came with the PC. I have been looking everywhere for this driver with no luck. Hoping anyone else can shed some light on this problem. Thanks
