what version Engine are you running, theres a hot fix for the 4160 engine available from the mcafee site. The error occured after updating my DAT files. See my post in a earlier forum (search for AVSync) and look at the last post, only if you are using Virus Scan 4.5 and engine version 4160.- audis3

AVSync Manager problem
Hello all, i was on site yesterday and all my clients running win 98 were having problems with Avshwin32 shell32 etc, AVsysnc could not start, i tried all the above fixes with no result, the problem is the latest dat definitions which seem to conflict with one another, i managed to find a hot...- audis3
