Our company standard changed recently to use CA Unicenter Remote Control from PC Anywhere 10.5 on all of our Window servers. Normal procedure is to uninstall PC Anwhere first but a developer installed CA Unicenter on top of PC Anywhere before the uninstall. Now the server can not be changed out...- robfreiberger

BE 8.5 SLOW-can't get good back up
I had the same problem here on BE 8.6 rev3878. Turns out to be the Intel 1000TX Nic had a old driver that was slowing down the backup server.
