Win 98SE detects new monitor during cold boot; previously installed
Regarding the BIOS battery, everying else works fine (like the time and date). Is there a way of testing the bios battery. One thing I should add: On a cold boot, when the computer asked for new drivers after detecting the monitor, I hit 'cancel'. The computer then freezes up. I reboot at...- murph

Weird one here... When starting Win 98SE after the computer has been off for several hours, the computer detects a new monitor and asks me to install drivers.
