    How do I filter the data to be shown, so i don't show all records?

    I want to be able to filter data, and not show all records of the database, but I want it to be inserted by the user. Like: What name(s) do you want to look? - Question box or something.. then: user types the data field. Is it possible? Thanks in advance.
