If I check the mail notification option in Outlook 2002, it works until I reboot or logoff the machine. After rebooting, the check box shows as unchecked and the notification no longer occurrs. Any Ideas? Thanks, James

I would also look into NAV. We discovered an issue with certain versions of NAV (7.6 and 8.0) that would shut down our Global Catalog Servers when terminaling into them. We contacted NAV for the fix. JamesonJ

I have discovered that TCP\IP could cause this issue in the past. I don't know what OS you are using on the workstations, but I would suggest reinstalling TCP\IP. JamesonJ
