I made a little mistake in both case there's NO 0 after decimal point or comma, but decimal point followed by nothing is good SQL for Oracle.
Ken you're right, I change regional settings to U.S. and all is good.
I think it's a bug in CR: regional settings can't affect SQL syntax.

I run a report (v8) against Oracle8 db, by a VB6 form, using Crystal OCX, setting inside selection formula
{view.number_field} = 2001
When running in VB6 IDE it translates to
view.number_field = 2001, (with final comma)

MS Access don't get the decimals so the problem is in the ODBC layer.
It is always truncating. I chose the example to show that.

Format seems correct: decimals 1.00, rounding 0.01.
Same report on another PC with same version of Oracle Client works properly.

I'm writing a report with SCR 8 accessing Oracle 8 database through Oracle ODBC driver and Oracle client 8.0.5.
The report reads a database field number(6,2).
Field value is 1234.56 but the report shows 1234.00.
