    Borrow another keyboard. If it works, buy a new or used one. Just make sure you have the right connector. Older ones use a large din. Newer ones use a small one. You can even go to good will or a used computer place and pick one up for $5-10 bucks.

    What are you using to input the video? VCR? Camera? Do you have a digital Camera or can you only do analog input? If you have a digital input device, firewire is a fairly inexpensive solution.
