Maybe there is no free log anymore and you have first to backup all logs. Look with onstat -l and try with ontape -a to backup logs direct to tape or file or try with onbar -b -l if u use ISM backup depending on LTAPEDEV parameter- supinformix

Informix 7.31 not using read cache
Hi Chrisak, suddenly we have the same phenomene as yours. onstat -p gives 0% for the read cached and this started suddenly this night while no activity. (A script takes onstat -p every 15 minutes). Do you have an explanation. Is it still a problem on your site? onstat -p gives : Informix...- supinformix
