hi all, i just installed red hat 8 and having a problem with the dialup connection. the system can recognize the modem but i'm receiving this: : : Serial connection established using interface ppp0 connect: ppp0 <-> /dev/ttyS0 /etc/hotplug/net.agent: assuming ppp0 is already up LCP:timeout...- newbiex

Is ActiveX platform dependent??
Hi i have a relatively simple question to ask which is weather ActiveX is platform dependent? i have read up on articles on the web saying it only runs on windows platform wheres others say microsoft is currently working on it to be platform independent. some of these articles i read is dated...- newbiex
