apostrophe in Excel cells after Export

I finally figured out the problem. In order to import phone numbers from Excel to Outlook, it must be in plain text format. However, when you apply text format to cells that already have numbers typed in them, they don't change to text by using Format-Cells & selecting "Text"...- SoftwareSavvy

When I import contacts from Excel to Outlook, the phone numbers are completely changed (the numbers actually change to something not even close to the original entry). Secured database moved to different server. Can't open.
