We are planning to purchase some new computers with Windows XP professional and will have Office 2003 installed.
Our email server is Exchange 5.5 running on NT 4 server.
Can Outlook 2003 be able to access Exchange 5.5? Is there any known issue in relation to this?
Thanks in advance
David Liang
Thanks everyone helped me.
Ed Fair's advice is very helpful. After running the scandisk, it fixed problem. The hard drive is indeed full already, just for some reason, the OS reported the usage size wrongly. Now, I just need to consider upgrade the hard disk to a bigger one.
Thanks again to...

What is the best way to get a list(short name) of all services currently installed in Windows 4.0 server?
I tried to NET START command, it does give me a list of the services. But, they are all in full name, e.g 'Microsoft Exchange Internet Mail Service' for exchange service.
I will need to...
Thanks for your advice, Bob. I just tried to copy the file ntbackup.exe from exchange server to my domain server(with tape drive). But, it seems it makes no difference. What I did is as follows:
1. Do a search on exchange server to find the file ntbackup.exe. Then, this file is found under...

After some research, I'm sure the requests were made from the NIMDA worm. I checked source IP addresses.

No, we are still doing the start up manually.
We purchased one plug-in for Filemaker. it's called oAzium Events. We use it to do some automatic indexing non-indexed fields over night in filemaker.
It says it supports password input automation as well. But, I haven't tried this feature...
We’re running Exchange Server 5.5 as our primary email server. Our ISP holds the DNS records for us. They also provide us a secondary email server. So, if our exchange server is down, their server will catch our emails. This fault tolerance system works fine. However, after running a while, we...

I found the solution by myself. Just post it here in case someone else has the same problem.
Create the hosts file on the client machine, point the server name to static IP address of the server.
For example,
200.2.2.12 Gateway
then, Outlook can access exchange server as normal.
Possible...
