Open excel - it crashes?
When I had this problem it was a problem with my graphics card driver. I downloaded an updated driver and it solved the problem. This was a specific problem with some HP systems.- DavetheGolfer

My user is unable to open .mde file I e-mailed him
I had this problem and found out that the entire path including c: and all subdirectories and the file name with extension can not exceed a certain number of characters. I don't recall the exact number but I believe that it is around 40 or so.- DavetheGolfer
