When I try to telnet my server running solaris it shows
"SunOS 5.7 | ld.so.1: login: fatal: libc.so.1: open failed: Too many open files | Connection closed by foreign host."
what could be the problem? Can anybody help?

Hi,
I am using solaris and had a sys. crash sometimes back.
The system is made up again without effecting the sys config. Only by mistake i have locked the user "nobody" thinking that its not being used.
I started apache and browsed my website, it is giving

Thanx for ur reply. The httpd.conf is having the same <Directory> container as you said and I also tried changing the file/directory attributes.
But still im getting the same error. Do you find any other alternative?

(shows cdrom as target 2)
ok devalias
(shows cdrom path as /pci@1f,4000/scsi@3/disk@6,0:f)
ok boot /pci@1f,4000/scsi@3/disk@6,0:f -s
(still shows "drive not ready" error)

I have lost the root password & I found some tips in this forum saying to boot from cdrom, but now I am unable to boot from cdrom after typing "boot cdrom -s" as it gives "Boot device: /pci@1f,4000/SCSI.....Drive not ready" error.
If I login as an user(other than root)...
