I believe the problem may be in your ODBC linking.
I would delete the ODBC and set it up again making sure to use the Access ODBC supplied with Crystal Designer. Make sure that each step in the ODBC linking is done correctly.

We have seen some of these messages and have linked it to the same issues as you. What cleared up many (but not all) was to install ALL of the recent hotfixes from Crystal Decisions.
