    VP408 Why message alert to phone number does not say anything until #

    Message alert turned on for a voice mail box, it calls out to notify message waiting, but when I answer - it doesnt say anything until # is pressed. At first I thought I was getting hang up calls. Is there some way to get it to give you a hint it's the system calling when you answer the call

    VP408 Why doen't it recognize first inbound ring ?

    Handsets dont ring until second inbound ring, any ideas ? two 4-lind handsets connected, one CO line for testing currently conntected. Other phones are ringing first time, handsets connected to system dont ring until second ring on other phones (phones not connected to the system.)
