Hi, I used FTP (MD Disk Tool) and copied the REL to PC using a network connection to the NIU (via Telnet). Now I try to restore it. If the MD is allready running it will work very good. But if I try it after a power down with a new HDU, it will not work. It will not be a Problem mit the...

Hi TheCurious, all users in MD over class 4 had the permission to do FTP with NIU. And there is no way who i know to configur this. I think you have to do all other user in class 4 or deeper. But dont forget to change all needed commands with IOCAC in the right class. Regards Pixelix

thanks to all but i have found a way. I extend an DTS wit a RDE3000 and found the result realy good. But it´s too expensive becaus you need an MMA and an RDE2000 Switch ans an RDE3000 Remote Module. Do anyone knows an cheaper way to extend an DTS, maybe over Ethernet? regards Pixelix ;-)

No picchietto, you can change only the name. Do it with: IOUAC:Name=MDUSER,NNAME=XXXXX;

Try it with IOUAC:Name=MDUSER,NNAME=XXXXX(PSW=YYY); But Note: The name of the default account can be changed but it must be changed by the account owner. Users can change only the password of their own account.

Hello Grootje i think the only way is to do this diversion with the OPI. *21*ext*div# It will work fine with all releases. The other way is a new patch from ericsson, but i think they wont do this for BC11. regards
