Is it possible to read data from an rs232 port with VBA?
I have to read data from an RS232 port to use it in Excel. Is it possible to do this wit VBA? If so, how do I do that? If not, is it possible with VB or is there another possebility to do this? It would be great if someone can help me.- JohanM

ODBC with SQL-Server does not store password in DSN
I use a attachted SQL-Server table in MS-Access. In the ODBC-DSN configuration I have typed username and password. When I try to open de SQL-tabel in MS-Access, ODBC asks me for the password because the passwordfield in the DSN is empty. Why does ODBC not store the password? If somebody knows... -
SendMessage API -Call gives "illegal operation in user.exe" by W95
I have developped an VB6 application on a W2000 machine. To establish the length of the TAB's in a listbox I use the SendMessage API call. Under W2000 it works perfect, but under W95 and W98 I get an "Illegal operation in module User.exe". Here are the code...- JohanM
