I've got several reports that display data items in columns. The single field data is in a subreport and it produces a fine single page report with multiple columns stretching between header and footer.
Is there a way of doing the same with subforms?
I would like to display a single field...
Thanks for that Tom. I've got the code in the right place and I can force it to work but it won't work automatically.
My problem seems to be the reference to the field from the underlying query.
The field is 'hap'. I'm referring to it as above:
Me.box.properties("Visible") = Me!hap...
Sorry if this has already been posted but I can't find the answer I need on the forum.
I have written a report that produces 25 pages, one for each person in the database. The report contains a couple of fields from the underlying query and a subreport pulling in information about the person...
We're running Win2k Server with Win 2000 clients. For some unknown reason, during a recent reinstallation, clipart for all users except the administrator is unavailable.
I suspect this is a problem of access permissions. Publisher was run from an admin installation from a share called the...
I've managed to control everything I need on Win2K clients via the GPO. However, I cannot seem to turn on and fix the Quick Launch Toolbar for my users.
Any ideas anyone? Each GPO setting I try seems to leave the Quick Launch off.
Thanks
Thanks Liamm
I've tried this solution but each time I change the class link to be same level, the toppage link changes too and I lose the "child level" setting.
I'll battle on with a basic link bar for the moment until I get my head around it.
What about subwebs? Do they work the same.
It is a school website. I want most pages to have a common navigation structure.
I have an information toppage. Below it I have a page for each class, class 1, class 2, class 3 etc.
I want the top page to show class 1, class 2, class 3 (ie child pages).
I want the child pages to show the...
I would like to use custom link bars for separate sections of my website.
The help file says it is possible to apply shared borders to selected pages and subpages but I cannot seem to separate different toppages to allow the use of a different left hand link bar for each occasion.
I have a...
I've finally found out that all my missing clipart is on the media cd and didn't install with Office.
I did an administrative install onto a server share and then installed the software onto the workstations using a Group Policy Object. No problem.
Now I've found the media CD I don't know...
I've done a network installation of Office XP on a 2000 server/client network. I did a administration point installation first with the /a tag to a shared folder on the network.
I've used office resource kit to add a couple of additional setup tweaks but I've made sure it's a full install of...
WooHoo! It worked. THANKS for all your help.
I hadn't been looking in the right place for the forwarder. Now that's in place everything seems peachy! I also didn't realise I had to name the new zone ITSUITE.
Any idea why each workstation shows up under this forward zone lookup after they...
I noticed that one successful workstation has the line IP Routing Enabled Yes while all the others say No.
Does anyone know where this switch is set?
Is it important in the scheme of things?

Well, I tried but still have some problems. Here's what I did.
1. Set DNS zone RM WINS forward to 194.238.48.1 and 194.238.48.2
2. Set DHCP Scope DNS to 192.168.20.2 (server)
3. Set clients as auto DHCP auto DNS
4. ipconfig/flushdns and ipconfig/registerdns (server)
5. ipconfig/release and...
I don't have access to the router setup as far as I know. This was set up by an outside agency.
SETUP: 16 Win2K workstations, 1 Win2K Server, 1 Cisco Router - all connected via a hub. The Server and each workstation have 10/100 network cards installed.
We were given the 194.238.48.1 and...
Aaaargh, even deeper in doo-doo now.
I disconnected two workstations from the network. Now cannot get them joined back up.
When you say the DNS is incorrect, what were you expecting it to say? the server address 192.168.20.2? If I set this manually I still cannot join the workstation to the...
