I've this as value in a string : ABCDEFGH and I'd like to cut it by keeping only the last character 'H'. Keep in mind the value in the string could be less or more characters as in the example.
Can you tell me if it's possible to do it with a sed command ?

I'd like to know if there's a unix command which can return me the DDS tape type which is loaded in my tape drive.
I've tried "mt status" or "file /dev/tape/tape0" but I can't know if it's a 60M, 90M, 120M, 125M or 150M.

A few days ago I get this error too because of a FS full on the print server. The only thing I done to resove it (after FS space was back) was to stop all printers on the client system, stop/restart the lpd daemon then restart all printers "lpc start all".
