there is a problem with nav corp 7.61 and Win XP...I have had the same problems....the sollution is to uninstall the program and then do a manual cleanup of your regedit, deleting all key entrys connected to symantec norton, and then delete the directorys in program files and in program...
I just reinstalled Windows XP....that fixed the problem, so it´s a bug allright, but not in the antivirus program !!

I have installed the client on a PC with windows XP and I did a proper setup of the program...the problem is as follows : When I do a manual scan of my C:\ the program ONLY scans memory...??? This does NOT happen when I scan my other drives, they get the full file scan with no problem.
