    Files copied to CD-R dont keep their dates

    I noticed that if I copy folders to CD-R, the files copy ok, but the file dates become the date of the creation of the CD-R. Is this s recognized bug? Is there a way around it? I now zip the folders before copying, thereby retaining the correct dates, but this is clumsy.

    I regularly write many,many folders to CD-Rom. It is not only tedious to select them, but I tend to leave some out, or include some I dont mean to include. Is it possible to write a .BAT or script to automate this process? Thanks
